Policy:
- All classes are held once in a week.
- Monthly fee is $40.00 for each student.
- Fee is due in the first Sunday of each month. A late fee of $5.00 must be added if the fee is not paid by the second Sunday.
- The fee should be paid by cash or check (if check, payable to Apparna Mitra)
- There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $20.00 per student. If any student doesn’t come more than two months without any notification, re-registration is required.
- Two or more students from a family will get $10.00 tuition discount.
- For any tuition modification, academy will notify you at least 60 days earlier.
- NAFA's policy can be updated without any notice; latest policy will be avilable in the website.
- Parents are not allowed inside the classroom while the class is running.
- Students are required to come to the class regularly and practice at home at least three hours in a week.
- There is an evaluation test (verbal and practical) for all students once in a year and every student must take the test.
- Students have to be dropped and picked up on time.
- Parents are required to park on the street if they stay at the academy.
- There is a makeup class if the class missed/canceled by the teacher only.
- Academy is closed for the following US government holidays: New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. There will be make up classes for those holidays.
- Academy is closed for Durga Puja, Eid-Ul-Fitr and Christmas(Note: There will be no make up classes for those events).
- Only teacher has the right to select the students, musics or songs for the stage performances. However, Parents’ or students' suggestions are also most welcome.
- Parents or students are responsible of arranging costumes for any stage performance.
- Sometimes, it may required to rent dance costumes from the academy for programs.
- Some music/song CDs and notes are provided to the students but it must not be shared with other Dance Schools, Teachers or Choreographers.
- If any student of NAFA wants to perform anywhere under defferent choreographer, a permission must be taken from NAFA.
- For quick respond, e-mail is the first pririty to communicate with the teacher.
- A written notice (email is ok) has to be given to the teacher if a student wants to discontinue the class.
